Saint-Paul-de-Vence, 29 July, 2008

On Saturday 13th July in Cannes la Bocca’s Theatre de la Licorne, that was for real.  Under the direction of Professor Eve Buscaglia’s ‘Le Studio’ classes based in Vence, one member of the hospitality team dressed up as Monkustrap, and together with the brush of professional make up artists 60 dancers produced an exceptional performance of The Magical Kats – a replica of the famous musical ‘Cats’.With great elegance of body movement, this cat weaved its way on stage and its face showed a mixture of emotion, from tenderness to fright to fear.

So, did you recognize this magical cat? This is Paula, from UIMC reception.

During intensive spring and summer seminar activity at UIMC, Paula squeezed her long sessions of rehearsals for this exceptional performance.

Paula Choisy has been Hospitality Manager at UIMC since January 2007.  Before settling in la Colle sur Loup a neighboring village to Saint-Paul-de-Vence, she was a ballet teacher for children in Paris.

Congratulations Paula, welcome back on stage at UIMC to welcome the guests and rendez-vous next year at the theatre for the musical ‘Moulin Rouge’.
