April 2005. France Security Seminar - 'Les grandes tendances en France'

GOIS (Global Outsourcing Infrastructure Services) started the 2005 security seminars with France on the 04th April.

This was a big Première for this local organisation to run an event in Saint Paul.  For 3 days 26 customers joined the local security team, reknowned security practitioners and key Unisys partners and customers to discuss the technological and business challenges facing organisations in the area of IT security, recommendations for dealing with these issues and a vision of future developments in this field. Key speakers during the seminar included the DCSSI Deputy (French National Security Agency), Danone, Mondial Assistance Group and Natexis Banques Populaires.

A closing session run by the Security lead in Europe, Bart de Maertelaere, and his deputy, Bertrand Bouteloup, gave the customers the opportunity of commenting on the Unisys portfolio and the seminar in general and guess what....the vast majority were pleasantly surprised by the end-to end nature of our portfolio, were impressed by what they had heard during their 3-day stay at the UIMC and committed to coming back next year!
