Contract Overview

Today, government acquisition officials are challenged with implementing increasingly elaborate information technology (IT) projects within a complex acquisition environment. To meet these challenges, government acquisition officials need a successful partner to help simplify the procurement process and help them achieve their IT acquisition objectives. The General Services Administration’s (GSA) Millennia government wide acquisition contract (GWAC) is a comprehensive solutions contract that provides services and enables hardware and software to be procured under the same task order. The contract fulfills the demand for large systems integration and development projects by providing IT support contracts in the following comprehensive functional areas:

• Software Engineering – Managing software from initial conception and planning, through design and development, to conversion, maintenance and improvement
• Communications – Definition, design, implementation, and management of digital and integrated or linked communication systems
• Systems Integration – All activities needed to develop and initiate automated information systems
